Adult Fitness Classes

All fitness classes are appropriate for ALL fitness levels. Modifications are provided when needed. Please bring a yoga mat, water and towel to every class.

Morning Fitness Classes

Bootcamp Trio

 


Location: Municipal Services Building, 210 Progress Drive (around back enter blue door)
Instructor: Shelly Tipton

Each day we will have a different focus for our workout. On Mondays (30 min), we will have a class designed to challenge our cardio endurance. Both high and low impact options will be given. On Wednesdays (45 min), we will work the entire body with a combination of cardio, strength, and core exercises. On Friday (45 min), we will focus on strength by challenging our muscles and aiming for muscle fatigue. All fitness levels welcome.

P90X Bootcamp


Location: Municipal Services Building, 210 Progress Drive (around back enter blue door)
Instructor: Shelly Tipton
Full body, strength training format, featuring four unique blocks of work: cardio strength, lower strength, upper strength and x-core. Suitable for all fitness levels, fully modifiable for beginners as well as challenging enough for the most ardent athletes. Please bring a yoga mat, water and towel.

Cardio/Strength/Core

Each class is divided into three 15-minute intervals, 15 min of core training, 15 min of strength training and 15 min of cardio training to give you a full body workout. All fitness classes welcome. No equipment needed. Please bring a yoga mat and towel.

Strength & Abs to Tighten & Tone

Burn fat and tighten/tone your entire body. Using free weights, body weight, exercise balls and more, you challenge all your muscles - including your core! Resistance training does more than just make your muscles stronger - it boosts your metabolism, burns calories & improves your mood!

Active Adult Strength

Strength is the most important element of fitness because it makes doing anything easier. No matter your age or ability level, everyone should be engaged in regular strength training. Designed for all fitness levels, this full-body strength class teaches safe and effective training techniques using dumbbells, body weight and bands. You'll tighten your core, improve upper and lower body muscle tone, burn calories and reduce body fat. All levels welcome.

P90X Live is somewhat different than the popular home fitness series. It is a challenging total-body strength and conditioning class for anyone looking to get fit and toned. This results-driven workout is designed to burn calories and build muscle with medium to heavy weights. Great for all fitness levels and can be modified.

Yoga Flow

Learn fundamental alignment techniques and basic Hatha yoga postures then combine these with Vinyasa flow movements to energize, build strength and increase flexibility. Stretch/strengthening the spine and integration with the core is included. All levels welcome. Please bring a mat.
