2nd Annual Kickin’ in the Grove Co-ed Kickball Tournament

Price: $100 per team (proceeds support the CG Recreation Programs)

If there are more than 8 teams interested - games might be played Friday night to accommodate.

Teams can have as many players on the roster as wanted. Teams can have 11 players on the field at one time - at least 3 players of each gender and 7 players total are needed to start a game. Champion T-shirts awarded to the 1st place team. Concessions will sell snacks, soda, hot dogs, brats, and other various items. Teams can bring their own cooler with water and other beverages.

Milwaukee Brewers Bus Trip Brewers vs. Cubs

TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 2010
2:30pm - 11:00pm (Adults 21+)
Price: $65 per person
(includes coach bus, catered tailgate party, ticket, souvenir t-shirt)

Grab your friends and board the bus as CG Parks & Rec heads to Milwaukee to watch baseball’s version of the “Border Battle.” Cost of the trip covers transportation on a coach bus, loge bleacher ticket, catered tailgate party at Miller Park, and group t-shirt to show your excitement for this rivalry. Bus will leave Community Park at 2:30 p.m. and arrive back at 11:00 p.m. Don’t strike out on this opportunity to watch the Brewers and Cubs battle as Ryan Braun and the Brew Crew look to make it back to the playoffs while Derrick Lee and the Cubbies try to end the 101 year old “Curse of the Billy Goat!!”

Fusion Fun - Glass...solid or liquid??

Discover the creative possibilities of warm glass. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. What is Glass Fusing? It is your unique design in various shapes and colors of glass that is melted (or fused) together in the kiln. Check it out!!

FUSED GLASS JEWELRY DESIGN

Session 1: Wednesday, April 7, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Session 2: Wednesday, June 30, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Session 3: Wednesday, July 28, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Session 4: Tuesday, August 17, 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Create one-of-a-kind jewelry while learning the basics of fused glass. Whether it’s your first class or your new hobby - glass fusing is an artistic way to express yourself and have some fun!

Cost: $17 with additional $10 materials/kiln fee ($10 covers 2 necklace pendants, 2 sets of earrings, or one bracelet)

NIGHTLIGHTS & COASTERS

Session 1: Monday, May 10, 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Session 2: Wednesday, August 11, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Participants will create one-of-a-kind pieces from fusing glass. You will choose from making one (1) nightlight or two (2) coasters.

Cost: $17 with additional $15 materials/kiln fee (please bring materials fee to class)

Open Basketball Nights

Glacial Drumlin School Gymnasium
Wednesdays, March 3 - April 21, 7:00PM- 10:00PM (No Basketball on March 10 & 31)
$2 per night (pay at the door)

Challenge your friends, take on your co-workers, come down and meet new people; all things that could happen during pick up basketball nights. The pick up basketball games are available to adult (age 18+) players. Open gym time has no set teams, referees or standings. This program is designed for adults to get together and have fun. No registration is required. Please bring exact change.
