Special EventsThanksgiving Turkey ShootSponsored by Piggly Wiggly Place: Taylor Prairie School Gymnasium Grades: Divisions will be divided by grades PK/K, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8 (Boys & Girls Divisions in each) Thanksgiving Turkey Shoot is a free throw contest where one child and one parent/guardian shoot free throws. Each team will be put into a grade division (based on the child’s grade). Each player shoots 10 free throws each to have a combined total. Adults can shoot with more than one child. The top team in each division will win a turkey! (One turkey per family) This is a great way to hang out with the family and have some FUN competing against your neighbors and friends! Participants welcome to show up the day of the event! “Holiday Hoops”3 vs 3 Youth Basketball Tournament $60/per team (3-4 players per team) Join the Monona & Cottage Grove Recreation Departments for the 4th Annual Holiday Hoops 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Find your friends, classmates and put together a team of four. All participants receive a tournament t-shirt and Division Champs get individual medals!
